From the 9th to the 10th of July, teams comprising developers, software architects, designers, business analysts, and tech enthusiasts gathered for an intensive coding marathon. An Unforgettable Experience

The Dirox Hackathon 2023 was an exhilarating weekend where six teams competed head-to-head in three different tracks. Each team was composed of skilled individuals who showcased their expertise and teamwork throughout the event.

Track 1: Creating a Plugin for Dirox Wave

Participants embraced the challenge of developing a plugin for Dirox Wave, our state-of-the-art Intranet platform. Their creativity knew no bounds as they explored innovative ways to enhance our platform and create value-added solutions.

Track 2: Developing an App Related to Wellbeing

In line with our growing focus on wellness, teams worked to develop apps centered around promoting wellbeing. From lunch recommendations to fitness companions and mental health support systems, the solutions they crafted demonstrated their dedication to improving people's lives.

Track 3: Building a ChatBot

Harnessing the power of artificial intelligence and conversational agents, participants delved into the world of chatbot development. They designed intelligent bots capable of assisting users with various tasks, displaying their technical prowess and problem-solving abilities.

Evaluation and Prizes

Our esteemed panel of judges, including Vincent Capa (Dirox Group CEO), Olivier Hertu (Dirox Vietnam CEO), and Reynald Vizconde (Business Consulting Manager), meticulously evaluated each project. The teams were assessed based on criteria such as creativity, presentation skills, app quality, and teamwork. Additionally, cross-team votes played a significant role in determining the winners.

Following intense deliberation, the judges awarded the top three prizes as follows:

1st Prize: </HackKing> 20,000,000 VND

2nd and 3rd Prizes: </OnTheRunway> 14,000,000 VND each

In addition to the main prizes Dirox employees will cast their votes on Dirox Wave to grant a </Merci> 7,000,000 VND prize!
