If you are wondering which principles we design the UX/UI on, we have broken it down into five primary principles to ensure your customers will have the most fitting experience for your theme and product. Empathy: When buying something for yourself, you are buying a solution to one of your problems. Businesses need to stand in the shoes of customers to empathize with their problems and sell them more efficiently. Strategy: To come down with the best, and most fitting design sounds easy in text, but it is a complex process to be able to deliver that. Thus, we have a clear strategy to be able to satisfy you and your customers with one look. Usability: How functional is it? Can users use it with ease? These are the questions we ask when considering the usability of a project. While aesthetics is the most important, you don’t want to send your customers away by frustrating them by making them unusable. Inclusivity: Every human is unique, and to cater to each one of them, inclusivity cannot be looked over. Everyone needs to know their voices are heard, and for others to see that you care about every person, including those completely different from them. Validation: When your project is complete, it still needs to be tested and validated. The feedback received is important for future improvements.

Many often confuse these two terms: UX & UI because they always go hand in hand. The meaning of each term is already mentioned above, but what do they mean together? What is the difference between them? Let’s think about it in anatomy. When the code is the skeleton, creating a structure for your project, UX is the organs, which bring life into the skeleton and help the body function. UI is the appearance, the cosmetics, the features, of a person. If you still have trouble understanding, let’s think about it as a sandwich. The sandwich looks delicious - that’s UI, but when you turn it around it is inedible due to rotten ham or mold lettuce - that’s UX. UI is the visual elements, and UX is the whole interaction, you can’t have one without the other. How about one more analogy? A horse, a saddle, that’s UI. The unbalanced feeling of sitting on a walking horse, and the wind breezing over your face, that’s UX.

Our designers use different software and programs for UX and UI. For User eXperience (UX) designers who produce “wireframes”, storyboards, and sitemaps, they use Figma, Sketch, InVision, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe XD. For User Interface (UI) designers, they use practically similar programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Figma, Sketch, but also Adobe Illustrator, Fireworks, and other graphic design software.
