The Dirox Scholarship Fund: 31 scholarships in 6 months

In the heart of Bình Thuận Province, a remarkable initiative has been quietly transforming lives and fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth. Collaborating with organizations like Mekong Plus, which is dedicated to uplifting impoverished communities through education and economic empowerment, Dirox has created a ripple effect of change and The Dirox Scholarship Fund has been a shining example. Launched in January 2024, the fund's mission was twofold: to foster the upskilling and development of Dirox employees and to extend a helping hand to underprivileged students in Bình Thuận.

For every certificate an employee received upon completing a course, Dirox pledged to donate a scholarship worth 2 million VND (about 85 USD) to a deserving student—nearly one-third of Vietnam's average monthly salary of approximately 7 million VND. This innovative approach not only motivated employees to pursue further education but also created a direct impact on the lives of students who might otherwise be unable to afford their studies. This motivated employees to enhance their skills with a sense of purpose, knowing that their achievements would directly benefit others.

Over the course of six months, the employees of Dirox have shown commendable dedication to their professional development, earning a total of 31 certificates covering a wide range of professions, including digital marketing, AWS, SQL performance tuning, web development, business analysis, blockchain/NFT fundamentals, etc.

This achievement has translated into 31 scholarships, amounting to a generous 62 million VND, being awarded to students in need. These scholarships are granted with the assistance from Mekong Plus, whose ongoing efforts to provide educational support align seamlessly with Dirox’s goals.
